About Stephen
Stephen Weiss was born in Montreal, Quebec. He currently lives in a quaint little community in Nova Scotia with his three wonderful children, and loving wife. Stephen studied classical drawing with the likes of Charles Cooper (Bear River, Nova Scotia) and then moved into commercial and photo-journalism.
Being away from the art scene for several years, he now studies with Francis and Linda Moyer. As a portrait artist, he has developed a group of followers who enjoy seeing themselves in charcoal, pastels, and oil.
